How it works

No surprises after you sign.

The three steps from free check to monthly plan, then the practical side: how requests reach me, how I get into your code, what I need on day one and how invoices work.

  • Your Jira, Asana or Linear
  • Slack or Teams
  • Your Git
  • Staging
  • 1Password
Communication

In your tools, not mine.

  • Requests in your Jira, Asana or Trello. No tool? I set one up for you.
  • Replies within one working day, Mon to Fri 9:00 to 17:00 CET.
  • Monthly report on the 1st.
Access and code

Your accounts, your repository.

  • Code stays in your repository, changes via pull requests.
  • Named accounts, NDA and DPA signed first.
  • Staging first, then production.
Billing

Fixed, in euros, from an EU company.

  • Invoiced monthly or yearly in advance by V.DEV d.o.o.
  • Card or SEPA via Stripe, or bank transfer within 14 days.
  • EU businesses: reverse charge, no VAT added.

Your tools

I join your workspace. No new portal to learn.

Work with me the way you work with your own team: same board, same chat, same review process.

  • A named seat in your workspace, on your SSO and 2FA rules. Remove it any time.
  • Your workflow and statuses: I pick up tickets, comment, move them and link the pull request.
  • Hours tracked in Toggl and logged on your ticket where your tool has a field for it, so finance sees them where they already look. The total is in every monthly report.
  • The monthly report goes where you want it: an email, a Confluence or Notion page, or a ticket.
  • Nothing copied to outside systems. Your tickets, docs and data stay in your tools.
  • No tool yet? I set up a free board (Trello or Linear) for you and we work there.

FAQ

Questions before you start

The questions most people ask before they start. More detail on how it works.

Free check, fix plan or engineering audit: which one do I need?

The free check (30 seconds) shows what is wrong and how bad it is. The full fix plan (€120) unlocks that report the moment you pay: cause, location, fix and effort for every finding, generated from public data, no agreement and no access to your code. The engineering audit (€290) is a senior engineer inside your code, read-only and under NDA: the module or custom code behind each finding, what no scan can see (patches, configuration, integrations), hours in your codebase, a roadmap, your fixed monthly price and a written verdict on plan, project or agency. The fix plan is credited against the audit, the audit against your first month on a plan; both are refundable within 14 days.

How do we communicate?

In your tools: tickets in your Jira, Asana, Trello, Linear or Azure DevOps, quick questions in your Slack or Teams. No tool yet? I set up a free board for you and work in it. Replies within one working day, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00 CET; production incidents the same working day. A monthly report arrives on the 1st.

How do you get access to our code?

Code stays in your repository; work happens on branches with pull requests. Named accounts only, credentials through 1Password or your SSO, NDA and DPA signed first. Every change is tested on staging before production. All access is removed on the last day, with a hand-over note.

How is billing handled?

Invoiced by V.DEV d.o.o., a registered Croatian company, monthly in advance from the day your plan starts, or yearly in advance with two months free. Card or SEPA Direct Debit through Stripe, or bank transfer within 14 days. EU businesses with a VAT number: reverse charge, no VAT added. Croatian businesses: 25% PDV. Hours above the plan are approved first.

Can we switch plans or cancel?

Yes. Care, Growth and Scale start with a 3-month initial term, then run month to month; the agency retainer runs month to month from the start with one month's notice. Move between Care, Growth and Scale from the next billing month; cancel with 30 days' notice. Your code, accounts and documentation stay with you.

Do you build new features, or only maintain?

Both. Smaller changes fit in the Growth and Scale plan hours. Bigger features (checkout changes, B2B, subscriptions, integrations, custom modules) are scoped and built at a fixed price, quoted in 2 working days, with a 30-day warranty.
