Can you take over an existing headless storefront?
Yes. The engineering audit reads the codebase, the data layer and the deployment first, so you know what you have before a plan starts.
Do you build headless from scratch?
As a project, when it is the right call. Honest version: for most stores it is not. A fast theme or Hyvä is cheaper to build and to run, and I will tell you which one you are.
Is headless the reason we are slow?
Sometimes. Client-side rendering of everything, heavy hydration and a third-party script per feature are the usual causes, and they are fixable without rebuilding.
